After spending my life in meaningless jobs just to pay the bills, I realized that the only people truly benefiting from all the effort that I put into my jobs were the owners of the companies I worked for. I needed to find a career that gave my life meaning and enabled me to make a difference in other people’s lives. After considering my needs for continued health and happiness, I decided to dedicate my time helping others to maintain their skin health and beauty, so I became an esthetician. After lots of research, I started down the esthetics path, and I have loved every minute of it!

I began at NC Skin Care Academy in Greensboro, NC, earning my esthetics license. I have been working in the Roxboro location ever since. I hold licenses for both North Carolina and Virginia. I earned additional certification for advanced eyelash extensions, microblading and ombre powder brows, and Kansa facial massage.

I’m excited to share everything I’ve learned during this new chapter of my life, and I continue to educate myself on new products and services. I pride myself on being community-driven, striving to create the best experience for my clients.

Meet Dawn Wright

For more than a decade, Dawn Wright has helped sedentary professionals and workforce Olympians find relief from pain, stress, tension, and the physical wear-and-tear of life-- especially for those chained to a computer or phone for work.

A graduate of The Medical Arts School in 2015, Dawn is a Licensed Massage & Bodywork Therapist (NC LMBT #15497) whose work combines clinical training, intuitive insight, and a deep understanding of how muscles work.

Through years of massage therapy work, she noticed a common pattern: many people weren’t just dealing with sore muscles—they were struggling with the effects of poor posture, chronic stress, long hours at computers, repetitive movement patterns, and nervous system overload.

That realization led her to pursue advanced training through the American Posture Institute, earning certifications in Postural Ergonomics, Pediatric Posture, and Posture Archetype Analysis, while continuing her education in Brain-Based Rehabilitation.

Dawn’s approach looks beyond where your pain shows up and explores why it developed in the first place. Her goal is to help you understand how your habits impact your body and create those nagging aches and pains then, she helps you get out of pain and teaches you to treat you too.

Clients often describe her work as thoughtful, personalized, and surprisingly insightful. Combining skilled intuitive hands, clinical training, and years of applied knowledge, Dawn creates a therapeutic experience designed to help you feel restored, supported, and empowered.

The Duke Energy grant provided the opportunity for funds to help me reach the goals I had in finding and remolding the perfect space for my clients."
